Exhibited at two museums - 1999 and 2004.

We are the exclusive world-wide agents for the sale of the magnificent Maxfield Parrish 18 1/2 ft. mural panel on canvas, which for 80 years adorned the north wall of the Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney residence on Long Island. This is the largest single work ever created by Maxfield Parrish.

It is illustrated in a spectacular double fold-out in the 3rd edition of Alma Gilbert's book "Parrish:The Masterworks", This third edition is probably the finest book on ever on the life and works Maxfield Parrish, and has been expanded to 268 pages. It includes the complete story of the Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney murals, and a much expended section on the Brown & Bigelow landscape paintings. A full 44 pages bigger than the first edition, and still priced at only $85.00

The Parrish paintings on this page were seen in the national exhibition that toured the nation from January 2005 to May 2006.

This is the original painting which became the permanent cover design for Harpers Magazine during the 1900-1901 period. This painting is lettered for the month of September but it was also used as a Harper's Christmas 1900 issue. Originally purchased by Alma Gilbert from the Parrish Estate through the Vose Galleries of Boston in 1973. Now in private ownership. Exhibited throughout the country during the national tour of Maxfield Parrish art 2005-2006 organized by the Trust for Museum Exhibits, Washington, DC, and curated by Alma Gilbert.

A drawing of a calendar for the year 1887 which Parrish executed for his mother, Elizabeth Bancroft Parrish at the age of 17. It was the design for his first etching. Double sided figure, the obverse is done in ink in 1887. Size Full plate 19"x14". Ludwig Catalog # 524. Purchased by Alma Gilbert from the Maxfield Parrish Estate through the Vose Galleries of Boston in 1973. Exhibited in five museums: The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Currier Museum of Art, the Rochester Museum, the Brooklyn Museum and the Cornish Colony Museum.
